"These antioxidants help reduce and neutralize free radicals known for causing hair loss." Aloe vera also contains vitamins B12 and B9 (aka folic acid), which are also important nutrients for hair growth, Reslan says. The internet is filled with DIY recipes for aloe vera masks to help make hair shiny and to promote a healthy scalp—here, our recommendations from the top experts. You can mix one cup of aloe vera gel with two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Put on your hair and leave it on for at least 15 to 30 minutes after you’ve done this step. The Aloe vera plant has thick leaves that secrete a gel-like material.

Why is aloe vera good for your hair and scalp?

There are plenty of people who claim that aloe vera actually causes hair to grow much faster. But as of now, there’s little clinical evidence to prove or disprove those claims. All three of these vitamins contribute to cell turnover, promoting healthy cell growth and shiny hair. Finally, keep in mind that the same healthy habits recommended for maintaining your physical health will also help your hair. Try to find ways to manage stress, and strive for a well-balanced diet that includes plenty of fruits and vegetables. If you have alopecia, you can help hold onto your tresses by avoiding behaviors that are known to contribute to temporary and permanent hair loss, Mirmirani says.

Research has shown that it may help with dandruff relief, and that the plant compounds may also help promote healthier hair. Aloe vera promotes healthy hair growth thanks to a special enzyme found in aloe called proteolytic enzymes. These enzymes effectively break down dead skin cells on the scalp that may clog hair follicles. If hair follicles are blocked with excess sebum, dirt, or dead skin, they won't be able to grow properly.

Memphis Style

They argued that art was essentially a spiritual activity; to create the individual's place in the world, not to organize life in a practical, materialistic sense. During that time, representatives of the Russian avant-garde collaborated with other Eastern European Constructivist artists, including Władysław Strzemiński, Katarzyna Kobro, and Henryk Stażewski. The eclectic Memphis Style is the result of a movement initiated by a group of Italian designers, architects, and artists in the early 1980s. Memphis style emphasizes geometry, bold color, and pattern, and touches on a range of art styles from Art Deco to Kitsch. Catalan artist Joan Miró combined abstract line drawings and paintings with surrealist subject matter.

Abstract: The Art of Design — Season 1

Step inside the minds of the most innovative designers in a variety of disciplines and learn how design impacts every aspect of life. Upon entering the ground floor of the Scuola Grande, visitors are introduced to the classical proportions of the 16th-century building, bracketed by two sizeable multi-panel oil paintings, one alluding to Buddhist iconography, the other Christian. Tadao Ando’s design is a progression of walls with a series of increasingly large apertures, each of which is self-contained yet connected with the others. These openings connect two larger works, one at each end of the space as on the ground floor, but, in this case, the two paintings are not strictly representational but instead suggest abstractions of light and water. A selection of Zeng’s smaller format oil paintings and works on paper are respectively featured in and around Ando’s temporary walls. Against the backdrop of the Misericordia’s majestic spaces—steeped in history and richly decorated with frescoes—Zeng’s project grounds his audience in the visceral experience of art.

Halftone describes the dotted effect created through printing, by breaking images up into a series of dots. The effect was replicated by pop artists such as Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. During the 1960s and 1970s these artists often strove to make their artworks look like newspaper billboard ads.

Artists such as Charles and Ray Eames revisited and reinterpreted indigenous art styles during the 1950s, resulting in organic shapes and an emphasis on natural materials, textures, and colors. Below, discover the ten abstract art styles designers consistently depend on for injecting creativity, beauty, and interest into commercial projects, and our edit of the best images to experiment with for packaging, web design, and print projects. A number of studies have found that abstract art can have significant emotional effects on the viewer, perhaps in part because abstraction frees the brain from the dominance of reality. A 2012 study made a direct connection between looking at abstract art and feelings of pleasure. With this in mind, savvy designers and brands can use abstract images to manipulate the mood of a viewer, and even increase the likelihood of a product being purchased.

Many of the abstract artists in Russia became Constructivists believing that art was no longer something remote, but life itself. The artist must become a technician, learning to use the tools and materials of modern production. Varvara Stepanova and Alexandre Exter and others abandoned easel painting and diverted their energies to theatre design and graphic works. On the other side stood Kazimir Malevich, Anton Pevsner and Naum Gabo.

Block Colors In Color Field Art

However, many artists looked to sculpture and relief to translate abstract concepts into 3D form. Designers can give layouts a retro flavor by using halftone backgrounds or overlays. Or, try experimenting with a varying halftone design to add texture and interest to a gradient design. Bright, eye-catching colors are a natural partner for this pop art-inspired effect, or opt for monochrome to play up its newspaper heritage.

Early abstract artists working during the late 19th and early 20th centuries used color, form, shape, and line to create paintings, sculptures, and drawings that purposefully felt independent from identifiable objects, landscapes, and people. Abstraction gave artists a new level of freedom to experiment with artistic methods and allowed these artists to reshape the traditional meaning of what “art” was. Expressionist painters explored the bold use of paint surface, drawing distortions and exaggerations, and intense color. Expressionists produced emotionally charged paintings that were reactions to and perceptions of contemporary experience; and reactions to Impressionism and other more conservative directions of late 19th-century painting. The Expressionists drastically changed the emphasis on subject matter in favor of the portrayal of psychological states of being.

With his expressive use of color and his free and imaginative drawing Henri Matisse comes very close to pure abstraction in French Window at Collioure (1914), View of Notre-Dame (1914), and The Yellow Curtain from 1915. This article relating to a non-fiction television series in the United States is a stub.

But figurative and representational (or realistic) art often contain partial abstraction. The raw language of color as developed by the Fauves directly influenced another pioneer of abstraction, Wassily Kandinsky. The works on handmade paper point to a new direction in Zeng’s work, ambitiously combining Christian, Buddhist, and literati iconography. The subject matter moves fluidly from the crucifix to representations of rocks and old trees—symbols of strength, resilience, and longevity in traditional Chinese culture. As with Zeng Fanzhi’s paintings, these exquisite drawings deliberately defy categorization in their alignment with the great traditions of Asian and European art.

Whether you already love to paint abstracts or are just beginning to explore the genre, we’ve got a roundup of ideas, techniques, and inspiration to keep you delving into the possibilities. To channel surrealism in your designs, look for off-kilter images of statues, objects, and people. Find designs that use distortion, splicing, or unusual concepts to offer something unique to editorial designs, posters, and website imagery.

Today, designers can update cubism with low-poly backgrounds and architectural planes, giving a 3D, immersive quality to background textures, vector illustrations, and app designs. Snubbed by some critics as being poor in taste, others love Memphis’ fun, experimental energy. Contemporary designers have rediscovered and revived the Memphis Style, and it’s the style’s optimistic and joyful mood that brands have found to be effective for attracting and converting customers. Art reached new levels of abstraction through the work of American painter Mark Rothko, who was renowned for his large-scale “Color Field” paintings. His monumental canvases explored the psychological and dramatic potential of block color. In the United States, Art as Object as seen in the Minimalist sculpture of Donald Judd and the paintings of Frank Stella are seen today as newer permutations.

Both of these artists were key sources of inspiration for the designers of the International, or Swiss, Style of the 1950s. And no wonder — simple blocks of color make for a simple and stunning backdrop to grid-based layouts. Many significant graphic design movements, such as the Swiss Style of the 1950s, the 1980s Memphis Style, and 1990s Minimalism, took their cues from the world of abstract art. For designers today, abstract art is a term that encompasses a huge range of different styles and artistic approaches. Generally, however, all aspire to represent creativity, visuality, and artistic expression in a non-realist way. Yet there may be no purer joy than painting for the sake of painting, and making abstract art can often feel like that, with its expressive freedom in color, texture, and emotion.

Abstract art, non-figurative art, non-objective art, and non-representational art are all closely related terms. Line art is beautiful in its simplicity, and can be used by designers to communicate concepts, and in the creation of icons and logos. The style was further developed by Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky, who abstracted the Cubist style further and is considered by many art critics to be the pioneer of Nonfigurative art. Finally, abstract images are connected with modernity and the avant-garde in public perception.

The artist’s new oil paintings emerge from decades of research in color theory, drawing on and challenging Impressionism and Pointillism, whereby images materialize only through the careful placement of individual color marks. Here, the brushwork creates figurative elements readily recognizable from afar but, when viewed up close, dissolve into the materiality of oil paint. Tonal variations in one color give way to interwoven schemes of colors, often with more than 30 types of bright pigments in one image. The installation provides an in-depth glimpse into his command of the medium, his wet-on-wet technique, and the emphasis on the sheer materiality of paint that defines his work. In a world now inundated with AI-rendered images, Zeng challenges viewers to recognize the superiority of painting as a time-honored art and craft. While realist art tries to put forward a depiction of actual reality, abstract art strives for the exact opposite.

Because actual objects or people are not featured in abstract imagery, designers can apply these styles of images to a wide range of projects. Abstraction places the focus on the visual mood and personality of the image rather than the realist content. So, the designer can give a design a certain look and feel through the manipulation of color, form, and pattern, while retaining a neutrality in the design. The Tadao Ando-designed exhibition focuses on Zeng Fanzhi’s ambitious practice of redefining the abstract through figurative representation and vice versa.

The artist floats colored ink on water before being transferring it to an absorbent surface, such as paper or fabric. Each marbling example is unique, and the results are ethereally beautiful and abstract. Suminagashi, the ancient art of Japanese marbling, is arguably one of the earliest forms of abstract art, with the first known example dating to the 10th century. Cubism, based on Cézanne's idea that all depiction of nature can be reduced to cube, sphere and cone became, along with Fauvism, the art movement that directly opened the door to abstraction in the early 20th century. The exhibition is co-curated by Michael Govan, LACMA CEO and Wallis Annenberg Director, and Stephen Little, Florence and Harry Sloan Curator of Chinese Art and Department Head, Chinese, Korean, and South and Southeast Asian Art.

The easy elegance of the abstract organic style has made it a firm favorite among designers for decades, many of whom use the style for branding projects, advertising, and packaging. Abstract line art, in which simple, continuous lines were used to create forms and shapes, are a hallmark of Miró’s work and of many other abstract artists working during the 1950s and 1960s. To channel the block color look in your own designs, look to Rothko, as well as the work of Dutch painter Piet Mondrian, an early proponent of Modern Abstract art, for colorful, graphic inspiration. Over the course of the 20th Century, a number of movements advocated and put forward interpretations of abstract art, including Surrealism, Dadaism, Cubism, and Fauvism. Artists like Pablo Picasso, Piet Mondrian, Wassily Kandinsky, Barbara Hepworth, and many others invented and refined their own versions of abstraction, resulting in paintings and sculptures considered masterpieces today. Meet six of the world's most influential designers in a stylish new season spanning bio-architecture, costume design, typeface design and more.

Types of Abstract Art to Know and Use in Your Designs

Inspired by the work of the American Abstract Expressionist Jackson Pollock, paint splatter images and drip textures bring an eclectic and energized feel to design projects. Particularly beautiful as backgrounds for packaging and large-scale print designs — such as posters and banners — these types of images bring color, texture, and movement to layouts, while creating a surprisingly uniform and versatile backdrop for typography and logos. To modern eyes, abstract and abstract expressionist paintings can look so effortless and so familiar that we might forget how revolutionary abstract art was in the 20th century.

Businesses that would like to be affiliated with a sense of modernity and a pioneering approach often use abstract imagery in their branding and marketing. Abstract art went hand-in-hand with the evolution of Modernism and Post-Modernism, interdisciplinary movements that encouraged a break away from the traditional approaches, styles, and ways of thinking inherited from the Renaissance, Early Modern, and Victorian ages. Even art that aims for verisimilitude of the highest degree can be said to be abstract, at least theoretically, since perfect representation is impossible. Artwork which takes liberties, e.g. altering color or form in ways that are conspicuous, can be said to be partially abstract. In geometric abstraction, for instance, one is unlikely to find references to naturalistic entities.

Although not strictly abstract, surrealist art aims to achieve a distorted version of reality by manipulating realist imagery. Artists such as Salvador Dalí, René Magritte, and Frida Kahlo were influenced by psychoanalysis, a growing field of study and practice in the early 20th century. Their paintings and sculptures sought to expand the creative potential of the mind, by juxtaposing images together that appeared irrational and unconventional. At the start of the 20th Century, artists Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque endeavored to represent all possible viewpoints of a subject or object, all at once. The result of the experiment was Cubism, an abstract art style in which loosely-identifiable subjects appear fragmented and geometrical.

Whether you already love to paint abstracts or are just beginning to explore the genre, we’ve got a roundup of ideas, techniques, and inspiration to keep you delving into the possibilities. Today, abstract and non-representational art is one of many rich, relevant genres of painting. Like representational art, painting successful abstract art takes practice, and an understanding of composition, color mixing, and values. If abstract art emerges from vision and intuition, it’s still grounded in discipline. Although it was later outmoded by abstract modernist art, surrealism continues to inspire artists and designers today, who value the style for its ability to surprise and delight the viewer. Fluid, curving forms and muted mid-century colors are the hallmarks of the abstract organic art style.

Hits and Misses on a Hawaii Cruise on NCL's Pride of America

hawaii cruise pride of america

In some ways, the Pride of America looked brand new – especially in the common areas such as dining rooms, shops, guest relations, hallways, etc. If you love seafood, reserve a table (at least three months in advance) at Mama's Fish House for some of the freshest catches imaginable—yes, it's pricy, but totally worth the splurge. The photo above may cause introverts to run, hyperventilating, to the nearest paper bag (I’m breathing into one right now!). If you prefer a more private and serene place to relax, hit the sun decks above the Lido for comfortable and more secluded lounging options. Look closely at the above photo and spot the tiny red fish swimming in the wrong direction near where the carpet transitions to a different pattern.

It offers overnights.

You can take a look at the bar menus here to get an idea of the drink prices so you can weigh the package versus an à la carte approach. We did elect to receive the Hawaii Beverage Package as one of our “free” perks and believe we got our money’s worth. But not everyone will with so little time spent on the ship.

Search and you shall (hopefully) find!

It's the only big cruise ship that doesn't need to begin or end its Hawaii sailings in a mainland U.S city, giving passengers more time in Hawaii and less time at sea. Our cruise fare with a balcony room, the beverage package, speciality dining package and some nominal credits totaled $4,768 for the two of us. The food and stateroom experience felt budget-level, but the cruise cost was far from being a budget price. A limited number of beverages are included in the standard cruise fare. Regular coffee, tea and ice water are generally your only “free” options, except some fruit juices at the breakfast buffet.

Excursions from the NCL Pride of America

It’s a very efficient itinerary in that you travel from island to island while you’re having dinner, enjoying evening entertainment and sleeping. This diversity of venues, including restaurants, lends itself to a fairly spacious atmosphere while onboard. It doesn't often feel like there are more than 2,000 people on the ship at the same time. The spacious vibe is also helped by the fact that most of the ship empties when in port, and the ship is in port every day.

I've watched bartenders run off their feet all week, mixing drinks as fast as their hands will allow. I've seen gift shop workers unpacking box after box of merchandise and doing it with a smile. I've seen crewmembers teaching others how to make cappuccinos, and what the difference is between a latte and a cappuccino and a flat white. The significance of Norwegian Cruise Line's return to Hawaii cannot be understated. Since 2005, Pride of America has been a staple of these Hawaiian Islands, arriving with punctuality into its weekly ports of call, much like the Matson Line ships that used to sail weekly from the U.S. Mainland to Hawaii and points afar and which are still a huge part of local folklore here.

Here’s a list of general items you’ll need or want for your excursions. – Another one of our favorite tours is the Kauai Secret/Sacred Falls Kayak and Waterfall Hike. The boat has 14 decks, of which 11 are passenger-accessible and 8 with cabins. This is a bucket-list trip for many, and the star of the show -- onboard and ashore -- is Hawaii itself. Those looking for a late-night libation will have to head on over to Pink's Champagne Bar on Deck 6 (open until Midnight), or the bar within the Mardi Gras Lounge, which is open "until late". The eye-popping colors of the shopping arcade on Deck 5 are still in full swing, and Norwegian's mid-2000 habit of painting clouds and blue sky on ceiling tiles in the buffet lives on.

Or just order the Nutella and fresh cream for seven consecutive days like I did. The Hawaii Beverage Package includes most alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (including boxed water which is nice to have for port days) up to $15 (and you’ll just pay the difference for any drinks over $15). Note that you will pay tax on the retail price of each drink while at port in Hawaii. Most of the items on the bill I have posted above are tax charges on our drinks. Second, because the Pride of America has to abide by all American labor laws, the majority of crew members will be Americans, unlike other cruise ships that employ mostly foreign workers. Pride of America operates inter-island Hawaii cruises year-round, and there is no indication that the next cruise or any future sailings will be impacted by the now-resolved technical issue.

Pride of America's class is unique as no other similar ships have been built. Her Inaugural cruise was down the US East Coast and lasted from the 18th of June to the 24th. During the voyage, the vessel was a background for the day time TV show "Live with Regis and Kelly". Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa awarded their viewers with 1,000 free NCL cruises in a campaign before the show. Starting from the 16th of May they were giving 20 cruises to winners every day until the 10th of June.

Experience

A few passengers have been overheard to remark that they're on a shakedown cruise -- and they're not wrong. This is the ship's first cruise in revenue service in over two years, and Norwegian is taking a cautious approach. With a substantial 2021 drydock in Portland, Oregon behind it, passengers will find some major improvements aboard this unique ship. When I embarked Pride of America in Honolulu on Saturday, I found a ship that has matured.

The 80,439-gross-ton ship is now en route to Nawiliwili for a much shortened visit. Originally, guests were to be able to enjoy the port for a lengthy overnight stay from 8 a.m. Now, the visit will instead be from approximately 8 a.m. Many guests arrive and stay for a couple of nights before or after in Waikiki. We recommend coming in a couple of days prior so you can enjoy the island of Oahu and then fly out the day the ship returns to port.

The ship provides soap and shampoo in dispenser containers. It’s nice that you don’t have to worry about individual plastic containers and that’s a win for the environment. It would have been better to have had a name brand soap and shampoo or something with a tropical scent to fit the Hawaiian Islands, instead of of what appears as a mass-produced, inexpensive product. The following photo actually makes it appear larger than it really is.

Several bars were completely overhauled, private cabanas were added to Deck 14, the suites were refurbished and the spa was upgraded. The results of this effort are impressive and immediately apparent upon boarding the ship. In addition to a fresh paint job in patriotic colors, the interior resembles that of a five-star resort. As I mentioned earlier, due to the port heavy itinerary, it may not be worth paying the service charges to receive the Hawaii Beverage Package as a perk and definitely wouldn’t be worth it for most people to purchase it outright. But depending on how much you plan on drinking, this is something to consider. While you might see people wearing beautiful leis at the airport in Honolulu and be tempted to purchase one, hold your horses (or your luggage in this case).

As the only U.S. flagged cruise ship, Pride of America sails year round from Honolulu, giving you the freedom and flexibility to vacation on your schedule. Visit four Hawaiian Islands and five ports in seven days while you cruise through paradise in style. NCL Pride of America itinerary program is based on 7-day Hawaiian Islands voyages from Honolulu. The roundtrip itinerary calls at the most exotic islands in the popular travel destination – Hawaii, Kauai and Maui, with several optional shore excursions in the region. On her standard 7-night itinerary, Pride of America provides overnights on Kauai and Maui, as well as calls at Kona and Hilo, and an afternoon sailing of Napali Coast. All are grateful to be here, to have passengers onboard once again - and so are most passengers I spoke with onboard.

Pride of America Cruise Ship Pride of America Deck Plans Norwegian Cruise Line

hawaii cruise pride of america

The décor has been toned down substantially, with wall treatments, carpeting and soft furnishings showcasing more sophisticated colors and patterns that reveal a quiet Hawaiian-American influence. Norwegian Cruise Line's Pride of America is a ship with a rich history that began long before it even set sail. It was originally ordered by American Classic Voyages under the codename, "Project America". American Classic Voyages had operated two classic ex-ocean liners pressed into Hawaiian service thanks to their U.S.-registry and drew up replacement plans for the aging vessels in 2000. When Pride of America cast off its lines on April 9, the ship carried just 50 percent of its total passenger capacity on its triumphant return to this slice of Paradise. On a calendar, April 9, 2022, seemed like any other Saturday.

Save On Shore Excursions!

We've been surprised at just how relaxing this experience has been. We rented cars for the last two days from Kahului Airport (a short 10-minute cab ride from the pier) and have set out to points afar on Maui, exploring Lahaina and the beach-resort paradise that is Wailea, on the Island's western side. HBO fans might recognize the landscape from the miniseries "White Lotus", which was filmed at the Four Seasons Wailea. In addition, the Skyline Main Dining Room is only open for dinner.

The Aloha Cafe (buffet) on the Pride of America was very crowded during breakfast hours as everyone was trying to grab a quick bite before heading out to port. For a more relaxing experience (and better food, in my opinion), eat breakfast in the Skyline dining room. There was never a wait to be seated and service was fast. While I normally love planning a cruise almost as much as the cruise itself, my regular pre-cruise excitement was tainted with worry that we’d miss the boat. If you do elect to fly in the day of, be sure to buy travel insurance that will cover the cost of any possible delays.

NCL Pride Of America Cruise Ship

While other cruise lines' ships spend several days at sea to reach the Hawaiian Islands from North America, Pride of America spends only one day at sea during each of its weeklong sailings. That means cruisers with only a week's worth of vacation time don't have to miss out. Meanwhile, those wishing for a two-week getaway can simply book back-to-back cruises.

Fish On Hallway Carpets Swim Toward The Front Of The Ship

Tours with pick-up at Honolulu Harbor Cruise Ship Pier can provide luggage storage for the day and take guests on great sightseeing experiences then drop them off at their hotel or the airport. This rainforest drive offers lush, tropical scenery, a black beach, waterfalls and beautiful coastal views. (One caution – if you are prone to carsickness, prepare with your preventative measures or skip this tour.)  Though we’ve taken the road to Hana many times before, when we cruised Hawaii on the Pride of America, we chose a guided tour. Several bars, like the Gold Rush Saloon, Key West Sports Bar and the Waikiki Bar on Deck 13 are shuttered as well due to the lack of passengers, though all of the ship's interior bars are open for business. Most of the completely closed venues are outer-deck locations, though opening hours have been adjusted for several bars, including John Adams Coffee Bar and the Napa Wine Bar, both of which close at 10 p.m. It may be early days as far as the Hawaiian cruise restart goes, but Norwegian and the crew aboard Pride of America have turned the ship into a destination in its own right.

So if you book tours or explore on your own via a rental car or public transportation, you don’t need to worry about what time you get back to the ship – the gangway will stay open all night and into the next day. Here are my top shore excursion picks for Maui and Kaua’i offered by Viator (owned by Trip Advisor). Come aboard Pride of America, our only cruise ship that sails round trip from Honolulu year-round so you can vacation on your schedule. Pride of America has 9 restaurants, including 2 main dining rooms, the no-charge Cadillac Diner and the casual buffet Aloha Cafe.

NCL’s Pride of America ship returns to Kahului, Maui

Unfortunately, the rides tend to be long and the stops short due to time constraints. This is the only stop on the cruise where a tender boat is utilized. The short stop POA makes off the coast of Kailua-Kona is wonderful. The views are spectacular and the historic town is a nice place to stroll for a bit. Pride of America (POA) is based in the Hawaiian Islands and cruises from Honolulu Harbor at 5 PM on Saturday and returns at 7 AM the following Saturday. Guests who come in the day before, or leave the day after have a full day to explore the island.

The restart of Pride of America, some eight months later, is no less important. The very fact that this is being written onboard this ship as we sail the (admittedly stormy) seas between Kahului and Hilo is nothing short of miraculous. Our Lyft driver in Lihue spoke of regretting sleeping in on Thursday morning; he wasn't aware Pride of America was coming back this week.

With so many overnight calls, there is no pressure to be back at a set time. In our experience, the closures haven't affected the onboard product at all. Bars and lounges are rarely crowded, and while securing a reservation at Cagney's or Le Bistro requires a bit of finagling, the food onboard has so far been good to quite good at the ship's complimentary dining venues. I love East Meets West, but I haven't missed it on this cruise. The reduced passenger count also means that a number of amenities are closed.

Norwegian Cruise Line’s Pride of America is the only ship that sails roundtrip solely within Hawaii. There are no days a sea on the Pride of America and every day is spent in Hawaii. Pride of America's wide variety of restaurant and entertainment offerings allows passengers with different interests to find the place that works for them. The Gold Rush Saloon, for example, is a nice spot for those looking for a casual evening of beer drinking and listening to karaoke. On the other side of the spectrum, those who want a fancier evening (with posher drinks) can go to the Napa Wine Bar and Pink's Champagne Bar.

You’ll want to do a lot of research first to make sure you use your time wisely. Note that we have a mini-guide to the road to Hana that allows you to see some awesome sights but doesn’t go to Hana and doesn’t take the entire day. The 2005-built Pride of America cruise ship is operated via the brand NCL America as a unique Project America-class (one-vessel only). Overall, however, it's hard to hold this against the overall experience, which has been unexpectedly charming. Entertainment, including live music, has been fantastic.
